I have been living in the "herb village" of Söchau near Fürstenfeld (Styria, Austria) since the end of 2018. I grew up in Vienna and studied journalism, computer science and sociology. In 1987, I initiated the first major university strike at the at the Institute of Journalism and Communication Science in Vienna, edited the students magazine "Der Blätterteig". I was politial active several years in the journalists' union and founded the Austrian section of Reporters Without Borders.

I am currently chairman of the association "Active Unemployed Austria" and the educational and research association "Vita Activa - Academy of Applied Life".

I am mainly working on article of german WikiPedia, but sometimes on english pages too.
