Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. An article you recently created, SIRIUS Hot Country Songs, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new articles, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do and please read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Javit 22:34, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
I'm just curious, where'd you get the impression that "Tough Little Boys" had something to do with soldiers? Ten Pound Hammer • (((Broken clamshells • Otter chirps))) 14:40, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
Posting the lyrics
Please don't post the lyrics to songs, as you did on Livin' Our Love Song. That's called a copyright violation. You can link to a site that has the lyrics (CowboyLyrics.com, for instance), but please don't put the lyrics IN the Wikipedia page itself. Sweet Southern Comfort
Buddy Jewell's "Sweet Southern Comfort" was indeed a #3. It might have been #2 on Radio & Records, but not Billboard. Ten Pound Hammer • (((Broken clamshells • Otter chirps))) 18:32, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Infobox
Please quit changing "Writer" to "Writer (s)" in the infoboxes for songs. That makes the writer column not show up in the infobox. Ten Pound Hammer • (((Broken clamshells • Otter chirps))) 19:30, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Martin4647.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Martin4647.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:09, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
Commercial use of Image:JasonMichaelCarroll.jpg
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:JasonMichaelCarroll.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:JasonMichaelCarroll.jpg has a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission, which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3). While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.
If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:JasonMichaelCarroll.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 18:58, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thank you. Ten Pound Hammer • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps•Review?) 01:56, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
Unspecified source for Image:Butrodney.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Butrodney.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:28, 22 August 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Shell babelfish 03:28, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Image:Brokenheartsville.jpg
A tag has been placed on Image:Brokenheartsville.jpg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD i3.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. Ten Pound Hammer • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 22:32, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Wikimania 2008/Conference of the Americas
Hello, As you may or may not know, Alexandria, Egypt was selected to host Wikimania 2008 [3]. So as to prevent the hard work of the many Wikimedians involved in the Atlanta bid from going to waste, we have decided to host a conference for the Americas. This is in no way an attempt to compete with Wikimania or make a statement against Wikimania.
As one of the people signed up to help with the Wikimania Atlanta bid, we hope you will join us at the Wikimedia Conference of the Americas. We will be having a meeting tonight in IRC tonight (Oct 15) at 9:30PM in #cota-atlanta on irc.freenode.org to discuss the conference. For more information about IRC see [4].
For more information about the Wikimedia Conference of the Americas see http://www.cota-atlanta.org and our wiki http://www.cota-atlanta.org/wiki.
If you do not wish to receive further notices about the COTA please remove your name from our notify list. --Cspurrier 18:12, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Image uploads note
Hello. I noticed you uploaded a number of copyright images, such as music video screenshots and cover art for albums and singles, with free license tags. Please note that copyright images on Wikipedia must be tagged with a non-free license tag and accompanied by a fair use rationale. See Wikipedia's image use and non-free content policy pages for more info. Thanks and regards. --Muchness (talk) 03:36, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article North Hairston Road, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Clay Walker and other R&R peaks
I'm just curious -- where did you get your information that "Hypnotize the Moon", "Then What?" and "The Chain of Love" were #1's on R&R? I've got some of the R&R #1's in a table, and even though there're several gaps in my data, I know that, at the very least, neither "Then What?" nor "The Chain of Love" hit #1 on R&R. Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Mark Chesnutt. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Songs pages
Although I appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, I would also appreciate if you would please try not to create so many song stubs so fast. WP:MUSIC states:
"Songs that have been ranked on national or significant music charts, that have won significant awards or honors or that have been performed independently by several notable artists, bands or groups are probably notable. A separate article is only appropriate when there is enough verifiable material to warrant a reasonably detailed article; permanent stubs should be merged to articles about an artist or album."
Your song stubs are just fine per WP:STUB, but it would probably a good idea to hold off until you can find enough relevant sources about the song itself before making a page. As a general rule, I would say wait until the song reaches at least #25, as that's the cutoff used on pages such as 2008 in country music. For now, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on your existing stubs, but if a song shows little promise of expansion beyond a stub, then I or someone else will probably merge and/or redirect it as needed. There is no deadline on Wikipedia, so a little more restraint would be appreciated from now on.
I'm not trying to be harsh on you or anything; I'm just giving you a bit of a cautionary note so that you don't become too overzealous in editing. You've done plenty of good work so far; keep it up. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 21:32, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Picture of Me and other album pages
Hello. I'm glad to see you editing in such good faith, but I would recommend that you please show a little more restraint with album pages. It's best to wait until there are multiple sources about the album itself before making a page. Picture of Me won't be released for at least two more months -- in fact, I bet it will be even longer, given Curb's tendency to totally mangle things -- and therefore, posting a page on the album would violate WP:CRYSTAL. That's why I've put Picture of Me up for deletion. Just to let you know. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 04:31, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Joe Diffie songs
I'll see what I can do about those ones. The lower-charting ones like "C-O-U-N-T-R-Y" and the Mary-Chapin Carpenter duet probably don't warrant pages, though I'd say that the Number One hits like "Home" might. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 01:31, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'll work on adding some Joe Diffie songs this weekend if TenPoundHammer hasn't beaten me to it. I agree that songs that peaked below the Top 10 probably aren't worthy of their own articles. Eric444 (talk) 02:38, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
