Boris Teterev (Latvian – Boriss Teterevs), the patron of culture, education and art is a citizen of Latvia, born in Riga, on the 5th November, 1953. In 1951-1971 he studied at Riga 10th Secondary School and in 1974-1980 at Riga Medical Institute (today – Riga Stradins’ University) and after the graduation he worked for nine years in Riga 4th City Hospital and Riga 5th City Hospital.
Since the end of eighties he started the business and in 1993 became the director of Moscow Office of the Latvian car dealer enterprise Mūsa Motors. He bought it in 1995 and created his own company Mūsa Motors Moscow – becoming the official dealer of Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, Renault, Chrysler Jeep and Rolls-Royce in Russia. In 2008 he sold his enterprise to Inchcape PLC and finished his business activities. In 2010 founded a family charity foundation – the Boris and Inara Teterev Foundation, and devoted more time to his hobbies.
In 2010 Boris Teterev received the Certificate of Appreciation of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia for a significant investment in maintaining cultural heritage of Latvia. On the 4th May, 2011 Boris Teterev received the Order of the Three Stars.
