Introduction:

Fazilatus Shaikh Muhammad Maroof As-Salafi Hafizahullah or Maroof Salafi (also written as فضيلة الشيخ محمد معروف السلفي حفظه الله) as referred commonly by many was born on 1st of February, 1967 in a small village of [1] in the [2] district of [3], widely referred to as Shaikh Maroof Salafi, is an Indian-born [4]-based Islamic Scholar and a well-known globally known luminary as a [5] (expert in the field of Islamic studies), [6] (expert in explanation of The Holy Quran) most notably his Dars Program of Holy Quran' in [7] near [8] area in [9] which is a [10] held every two weeks at the heritage mosque continues for more than thirty five years till date. He is an active television and media personality He is an educationist from [11] & [12] ([13]), author of thirty-five literary works in [14], among which titled ‘Talkhees Maanil Qur’an’ is a summary of [15] in Urdu language.

He is also “The Official Spokesperson of Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadees” sub-section of [16] on behalf of the West Bengal wing of the Ahl-e-Hadees section since 1988. He is also an active YouTube content creator cum video-blogger having regularly delivered on various topics, situations events, public gathering and private and personal occasions more than across 2000 videos on YouTube to his credit so far which still continues till date. He is also an official "Muslim marriage registrar and a registered Qazi for [17]". Currently he is also translating The Holy Quran in Urdu on his daily routine which is due to complete in the sooner possible. His highest achievement as a Islamic preacher claimed by himself is that of “The Official Imam of Jame Masjid Ahl-e-Hadees in Kolkata” since the past thirty-six years to the present where he is gives his regular ‘Khut Batul Jumuah’ or ([18]). He prefers to be acknowledged as a [19] of Islamic order while openly proclaims to be also understood as an active preacher of the “[20]” or the [21] school of thought.

He is also a philanthropist and a social activist from [22] and [23]. Early Childhood, Education & Academic Career:

Born in the year 1st of February 1967, to Hafiz Abdul Aziz, a well-known figure in the village [31], [32] in the district of [33] in [34], a prodigal personality as stories about him tells that Hafiz Abdul Aziz completed his memorization of Holy Quran at the age of thirty years after getting married to his mother Zaibun Nesa wherein reciting the Holy Quran while he used to riding tractor in his farmlands during this period. There is a prodigal reality to his son Maroof Salafi also on to his early childhood wherein he was found to be mostly indulgent in studies and went to play fewer or lesser times, once and mostly he was found to climb up a guava tree near his home and used to start giving speeches by himself. He has been religious and a regular in prayers since a small child. Following up his enthusiasm and his religious indulgence from an early age, he was sent to study in Madrasah Deeniyah Zer-e-Qila in [35] where he obtained his “[36]” and then went to continue his education further in [37] in [38] to obtain his “[39] and [40]” in [41]. He studied there for ten long years before finally returning back home in Bihar temporarily. During this period, he did Imamat and delivered sermons in Majhaura near [42] in [43] before finally departing for his lifelong journey to the metropolitan city of [44] in the state of [45] in the year 1988 till present with the sole intent of spreading the message of Islam to others. Till today he has established himself as the “Official Imam of Jame Masjid Ahl-e-Hadees in Kolkata” which is his most prized possession.

1. His first interview of thirty-five minutes came in by the prominent and well-known “[93]” in the year 2004. The interview was hosted by its Channel Director ‘Ataullah Khan’ and was the interview aired by the news channel in [94] in the same year. 2. His next interview in the year 2006 was conducted by the prominent [95] newspaper [96] by Rakhi Chakraborty and the interview was transformed as a literary work later titled “[97]”. 3. He addressed a press conference in the prominent “[98]”.Thereafter subsequent interviews were conducted in the presence of major national news media channels of India on the global “Jyllands-Posten" controversy which was a controversy that was created by a Danish cartoonist on [99] in the year 2006. 4. A seven-minute interview was also conducted by [100] on the essence of the month of [101]. The interview was conducted by [102] Shabana Ejaz. 5. He gave a several numerous and landmark interviews between 2018 till present on various subject, issues and events concerning peace for the whole Muslim and national various Indian communities. 6. He jointly chaired with [103] of Kolkata Qari Fazlur Rahman a significant landmark among [104] in Kolkata that was also attended by numerous clerics and dignitaries of various sects of Islam as well as other religions such as [105] and [106] in a massive state-level mass protest against the oppression and genocide of [107] in [108]. The event was estimated to have attracted more than 20,000 protesters and participants who staged a demonstration against the atrocities and genocide in [109] after the [110] attack. This was a remarkable turn of events as for the first time ulemas and clerics of all faith and distinction jointly participated alongwith community members and people of all other majorly religions as well came down unitedly for the very first time against the atrocities in Gaza and it was jointly organized by various prestigious Muslim Organizations of distinctions like [113] and others.
