-very out of date -page focuses only on the old razor scooter and does nothing to mention the newer razor models that include electric scooters -sub sections need expanding upon -only talks about freestyle riding -how does this scooter compare to other models? what is this best for? -could use a diagram labeling the parts that the article references -not all sources are reliable--experiences at google article is probably no good -could talk more about inventing of scooter

Wikipedia reflection:

1. I learned that as a source, wikipedia is either very informative or not at all. the difference in quality between pages varies so widely. I approached critiquing the Razor scooter article by seeing where it was really lacking in content and accurate information. Some of the information on the page was not relevant or very informative and thus need to be removed, other parts were alright content wise but needed stylistic revision or rephrasing. The things that i decided to add to the article were pieces of information that i felt would be pertinent to someone searching the page for a project or someone looking to buy a razor scooter.
2. The first thing i did to the page was to revamp the introduction section. I felt it was lacking on content and it was poorly structured. I also added some specifications to the design section as well as a sentence about how this design improved the scooter. I then created an electric scooter section (which zoey contributed to) and i then expanded on the information she had found. I then added a safety section, as i felt that any sort of sports equipment page should include at least a blurb about how to use it safely. Lastly i added an image from razor scooter of an electric scooter (which i hopefully found and cited correctly without infringing on any copyrights). I also check through the sources to make sure that they were as trusted as possible and made sure to add plenty of sources for the information that i contributed as well.
3. i did not receive any feedback from other wikipedia editors, i do not think the razor scooter page gets very much traffic.
4. I learned that contributing to wikipedia (at least contributing correctly) is harder and more complicated than i thought. in order to add thoughtful and correct information you have to put a bit of effort into your revision. This wikipedia assignment is unlike anything that i have done for other classes, it was cool to actually be able to edit a web page and then see the changes progress through the project. Wikipedia, if created and edited thoughtfully, could provide a more comprehensive history, present and future of the razor scooter. much of the information online is scattered through different sources so wikipedia would be a great place to have everything together. This would be important for people looking to find information on the scooter, as it would make it quicker and more efficient for them to learn about this piece of equipment.
