Mimik Magazine is a magazine with a distinguished aesthetic and focusses on fashion, art, performance and prose. The magazine was founded in Utrecht, Netherlands. The first issue was launched [1] in 2012. The activities of Mimik are divided into the hard copy magazine and the website [2].

The magazine describes it's activities by the following mission statement: ‘Mimik believes that true beauty lies in the unusual and absurd. In the things that cause a sense of alienation and confront us with ourselves. Mimik shows an artistic world where people do not hide behind masks or a nylon smile. A world where people expose themselves in a honest and vulnerable way. Mimik is emotion’

The website is divided into five sections:

Brainwaves: this section displays inspiration, ideas, thoughts and stories about fashion, art, performance and prose.
