The article was very well organized structurally. It started off by giving the scientific background to the social or culture background of biological determinism of gender. However, there seems to be a bias on the social construction of determining biological gender. There were also some factors such as environmental factors taking part of gender and what gender, if any, an individual associate themselves with that were underrepresented. When talking about the gender assignment it does not give enough information on how a baby can be born intersex, it should include things such as studies where babies were born with an extra X chromosomes or extra Y chromosomes. Look more into biological gender genes and give examples of places such Dominican Republic case where males looked like girls and did not grow their penises until puberty.

We could add why the 14th amendment is an important point to discuss in this article. For example, because of equal rights such as same sex marriage rights. I was unable to access the talk page, when going into the talk page I was redirected to our course page, so I am assuming there has been no comments or talks on this topic yet. I am unable to also leave a comment due to this but if I were to leave a comment I would ask why they did not add more to gender relating to physiology affects, or adding transgender in their article. There was no proof that this article was rated since it is such a small article with little to no background information included. It does not go in depth of their research, sure it gives one or two studies or research done on the topic. But it does not go in depth with them and it seems to have a bias which is explaining how science is correct and can solve gender but that is not the case. Gender is more complex than that and in this era we can see how gender is not just male or female it can be transgender as well, which the article did not go in-depth with.

Levay experiment see if anyone else tried duplicating it and if their results were the same as his and if not why not? What does this mean for homosexuality and its connection to genetics?

I would have preferred to see be added about kids or adults who were given a gender at birth but never felt like they belonged to that gender. Another subject the article pointed out was how men and women are hard to point out based on their physical appearance because biologically women are growing as tall as men and men are living longer, I would like to see the statics to this statement included in the article. Another issue pointed out towards the end was sexual binary, and how we are trained to follow the “norm” when it comes to gender, pointing out articles talked about this subject would improve the article in better understanding this subject and would add to the main idea of biological determinism of gender roles. As for the citation the article is well cited especially when citing from books or other articles used.
