Marguerite Harden has a Master of Environmental Management (MEM) degree from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies with a focus in non-profit management and climate change. She also holds a B.S. from Towson University in Environmental Science and Studies. She has been a consultant to the U.S. Department of Energy and various state and local energy offices, an employee of Kupu (a Hawaii-based non-profit focused on youth development and environmental issues), and an employee of the Oak Spring Garden Foundation among others. She is an experienced sailor, surfer, runner, and traveler.
