This is a template to generate an external link to a web page at the Margaret Herrick Library catalog.

Usage

Unnamed parameters:

• {{MargaretHerrickLibrary | ID | TITLE }}

Named parameters:

• {{MargaretHerrickLibrary | id= ID }}
• {{MargaretHerrickLibrary | id= ID | title= TITLE }}

Instructions

1. Search Margaret Herrick Library Catalog for the collection you want, and click on the correct link to go to that collection's page.
2. The page's persistent link should look like this:

   http://catalog.oscars.org/vwebv/holdingsInfo?bibId=#####

   where "#####" indicates a number.

3. Copy only that number. Add the following text to the External links section:

   * {{MHL Academy | ##### | TITLE }}

   or * {{MHL Academy | id= ##### | title= TITLE }}

   where ##### is the number you've copied,

   and TITLE is the name of the collection.

Person

1. For Alfred Hitchcock, the MHL Catalog persistent link is:

   http://catalog.oscars.org/vwebv/holdingsInfo?bibId=65275

2. Copy 65275 and add it to this template, i.e.:

   {{MHL Academy | 65275 | Alfred Hitchcock papers }}

   or {{MHL Academy | id= 65275 | title= Alfred Hitchcock papers}}

3. This will display as:
