The House of Albert, or House of Albert of Luynes (natively, Maison d'Albert de Luynes), is a heriress house of the french nobility.
It is the only subsisting ducal house wich includes among its members a Grand Constable of France. It also counts two Marshals of France, one memorialist of the Louis XV's court, governors, prelates, a deputy, three generals, etc.
It got elevated to the ducal rank in 1619.
