Teri Gay (born June 20, 1959 in Glens Falls, New York) is an American writer and historian.
Early Life
[edit]She grew up in Glens Falls with 3 siblings and 2 parents. Her father was an immigrant from Hungary. She graduated from Glens Falls High School in 1977 and recieved a full scholarship to St. Lawrence University. She attended St. Lawrence for 4 years and graduated in 1981 with a major in Political Science.
Career
[edit]After working as teacher and an independent beauty consultant, she worked as the town historian for Malta, New York. In 2007, her first book, Malta Memories, was published. In 2009, her second book, Strength Without Compromise was published. [1] Strength Without Compromise is about women's rights in upstate New York. She is currently working on a memoir.
