The Hungry I documentary and blog.
In 2010 film maker D'Arcy Mann decided to document the negative health effects of being overweight and underweight. To do so he gained 20lbs in a month by eating deep fried foods, pizza, candy, and other junk then began starving himself with a diet of less than 500 calories per day for 100 days. Where documentaries like Supersize Me and Food Inc. covered the negative effects of poor diet, D'Arcy aimed to show what that does to the human body.
