Soon after their wedding, celebrated in Las Vegas, Cole and Victoria plan to go on a honeymoon. The couple informs Nikki but chooses not to reveal anything to Victor. Victor is determined to announce to Cole that he is his father. Olivia asks Nathan to come home: Lillie could leave home and live with Neil and Drucilla.

In the aftermath of the holidays, Cricket is happy to receive her father-in-law. He advises her to do nothing that could compromise her marriage. Victor admits to Hope that he has won against Nikki. The businessman is now sure of himself: "I do not like Nikki anymore". Nina is still waiting for the man's call to the scar.
# 5278	Wednesday January 5
Cole and Victoria stop at a rural diner. Robert wants to know where April was before the holidays. He doesn't believe she was at her mother's. Victor and Hope talk about Victoria. Ryan and Nina argue about her bringing a stranger into their apartment. Lauren invites Brad for diner. Paul tells Christine he's here for her if she wants to talk about Danny. They talk about April. Paul decides to call her. April assures him that she's fine. Hope is thinking about the complexity of life and the surprises that it holds. Paul, having heard no news about April, is worried about her.
# 5279	Thursday January 6
Robert catches April talking on the phone. She says she was talking to her mom. Robert calls his mother in law, who tells him she hasn't heard from April for a while. Paul's worried about April. Christine advises him not to go to New York again. Cole and Victoria are on honeymoon. Jack says they barely know Cole but Nikki assures he's a very nice man. Rex pays Paul a visit. He doesn't like Paul and Christine's relationship. Paul says Christine is a very good friend. He knows she didn't go to New York and he'll be there for her, whether Rex likes it or not. He assures the problem isn't him or Christine but Danny who is about to make the mistake of his life. If Rex is so concerned about his son's marriage, Paul suggests he talks to Danny about it. Although Victoria is convinced that her father will be happy to learn about her marriage to Cole, Jack is not at all of that opinion. More and more suspicious, Robert checks that April was on the phone with her mother and finds that wasn't the case. John is ecstatic about Billy and celebrates the joys of fatherhood but wonders how much time he has to live with his little one

Jack comforts Nikki. She has just learned that her daughter has married Cole. The couple will not be long in returning from their honeymoon. Victor must be warned as soon as possible. Jack insists that Nikki warn Victor of Victoria's wedding. April is in danger. Robert hit her again. She runs to take refuge with Paul's mother.

On their honeymoon, Victoria and Cole meet a painter who agrees to do their portrait. Delighted, the young woman destines this drawing to her father, as a pledge of reconciliation. Meanwhile, Victor blames Nikki for not being able to prevent the marriage of his daughter. Did she have a choice? Nobody took the trouble to ask him his opinion. But how do you make her understand Victor? He accuses her of being negligently responsible for their event.
