I'm a bit unsure of the sources you've listed. The formatting is off and it took me a bit to figure out what you were referencing. The first source is a report from the 1970s that may or may not be helpful to you, but it is fully in French. The fire dancing source you're going to have to look at and see. Anything with an unknown publisher is iffy.

If you are having difficulty on finding sources just on the Bassari, then you have to start looking more broadly. Do searches for Art and Senegal. Or West Africa, etc. Look at the comprehensive books on African art, and see what they say and what sources they've used. For example, our textbook, or the other one on reserve at the library.

Please go back and add to the list of references you plan on using. Redo the search with broader terms.
