Francisco Zabala[1] (born 1982 or 1983) is a computer scientist, engineer, and executive, most noted for his work on artificial neural networks and deep learning. He was previously employed as a research scientist at Walmart Labs and has made contributions to the field of deep learning and computer vision.
Biography
[edit]Zabala obtained his B.S. in electrical and computer engineering from California State University, Fullerton and M.S. in control and dynamical systems from Caltech under the supervision of Richard Murray and Michael Dickinson,[2]. His thesis is titled ....[3] After graduation, Zabala launched a startup ACROBOTIC through a Kickstarter campaign.[4].
