He asks some of the more difficult questions to answer about certain aspects of society, and he does not shy away from getting his readers mad at him. "There Is No LQP-79 Virus: The Miami Cannibal Was Just Really High" and Aftermath
[edit]This article, written on May 31, is by far R. Turk's most successful and most controversial. It talks about the cannibal case of Rudy Eugene eating off the face of Ronald Poppo down in Miami, Florida. A mock article written later talks about a virus that makes humans crave human flesh called LQP-79 virus. Many people on the Internet began to panic about this virus. The next day, R. Turk wrote an article entitled "There Is No LQP-79 Virus: The Miami Cannibal Was Just Really High," telling the public not to be so gullible and that the virus is not real. People on many websites who believed in the virus, especially certain members on 4chan, got very cross about the article and began to bombard Turk with personal attacks, both on the article and on his personal e-mail and Twitter. The article, as Turk stated later, was highly necessary and has received to date over 27,000 views.
Criticism
[edit]Many who have criticized R. Turk deem his work to be unprofessional, rash, and terse. Some readers have even commented how he is a conspiracy theorist and one of the worst writers on the Internet today. His fans have regarded him as the one who speaks the truth and rips off the Band-Aid.
Personal Life
[edit]R. Turk currently resides in Woodbridge, Virginia. He will be attending Virginia Tech next year for college. He is also thought to be an avid supporter of Ron Paul and libertarian principles.
