The Wikipedia article I selected to revise is entitled Anti-Jewish Legislation in prewar Nazi Germany. I selected this article as it parallels my analytic paper topic regarding the political factors that account for the Holocaust. I feel as though I will be able to greatly re-construct this article as it cites no sources and is brief and incomprehensive in its discussion of the expansive topic. I would like to revise this article as I feel that understanding the political factors that led to the Holocaust is crucial in understanding the Holocaust as a whole. To improve this article I will provide sources and add more details to the existing Nuremberg Laws and Kristallnacht subsections of the article as I selected sources that specifically discuss these topics in great detail. Furthermore, I will create an additional subsection regarding the 25-point party program, which will allow me to elaborate on Nazi Ideology pre-holocaust. I will also be able to add any additional subsections on other laws/policies that I will discover in my research.
The Sources I have selected are :
Nazi Germany and the Jews Vol. 1 By Saul Friedlander
The Germans and the final solution: public opinion under Nazism by David Bankier
Kristallnacht: prelude to destruction by Martin Gilbert,
The Twisted road to Auschwitz; Nazi policy toward German Jews 1933-1939 by Karl A. Schluenes
The Jews-A History by John Efron, Steven Weitzman and Matthias Lehmann.
