The West Side branch is a railway line in the state of Oregon, in the United States. It was built by predecessors of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company and at its fullest extent ran approximately 130 miles (210 km) from Portland, Oregon, to Eugene, Oregon. Two disconnected segments remain in use today: from Beaverton to the Stimson Lumber Company near Gaston, in the vicinity of Portland; and from McMinnville to Greenberry, near Corvallis. Both are owned by the Union Pacific Railroad and operated by the Portland and Western Railroad.
