Sam Stern (born August 29, 1990[1]) is a young British celebrity chef and author of two cookbooks. He has a contract for two more books.[2] He grew up as the youngest of five siblings in Yorkshire, England [3] He writes a regular column called "Sam's Super Kids" in First News.[4][5] In addition to his dream of owning his own restaurant, he would like to trek to the North Pole.[6]
Career
[edit]Stern became famous after the publication of his first book "Cooking Up a Storm". In the United Kingdom he made appearances on Blue Peter, This Morning and BBC Breakfast to promote the book. He also did interviews with major newspapers like The Daily Telegraph, The Times and The Observer. All this publicity lead to Jamie Oliver inviting Sam to meet with him at Fifteen in London[4] and an appearance at "The Festive BBC Good Food Show" in London alongside chefs like Jamie Oliver, Rick Stein, Gordon Ramsay and Anthony Worrall Thompson[3] on December 2, 2005.[7] In the United States he appeared on the NBC The Today Show where he did a cooking demonstration.
