Kirby Reed is a teenager in Woodsboro, the friend of Jill Roberts and Olivia Morris, love interest of Charlie Walker and an avid fan of the horror genre. While entertaining friends at a party, Ghostface attacks and she retreats into the basement with Sidney Prescott. Ghostface captures Charlie and forces Kirby to play a game for his life which she believes she wins, but after Charlie is freed, he stabs her in the stomach, blaming her for not returning his affections sooner, and leaves her for dead.
