I am a second year student of Ancient and Medieval History and Culture at Trinity College Dublin. I have previously studied Electronic Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano and Technology Management in an online program the University of Phoenix.
I work as a technical translator and in software localization between Italian and English. I am quite knowledgeable on medical topics, especially oncology and clinical trials.
I have worked as a small scale farmer, a chocolatier, and an engineer in the semiconductor industry.
Current and Past Interests
[edit]
I am active in medieval recreation in the Society for Creative Anachronism, with a wide range of interests ranging from heraldry, the history of Sicily from the Norman conquest to the days of emperor Frederick II, coin making, embroidery, traditional archery and bow making, medieval music and dance, medieval food and cooking, and brewing mead.
In my younger days I was a marathon runner and an orienteer, and in the past few years I have been an avid randonneur cyclist.
