Melinda Laituri

I am a professor emerita at Colorado State University in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Sustainability. I have conducted research and technical training in GIS and participatory mapping around the world working with indigenous communities and focusing on water resources and disaster preparedness.

I participated in a course taught by Wiki education that trains scholars in how to edit Wikipedia. Learn more at wikiedu.org. All of my contributions are my own and I take responsibility for them.

I continue to learn new ways to contribute to Wikipedia and am part of the Social Movements in the US course.
