First and foremost, I believe that, currently, the internet is the most invaluable tool of mankind. As such, I believe that it should be utilized to its fullest potential (even if that potential must be beaten out of it and even if it constitutes out-and-out abuse). Therefore, I believe that WP should be a repository for allhuman knowledge not just that which satisfies academia. I'm against restricting WP to only academia related articles. That said, I can and will still contribute meaningfully to academic related articles, but I daresay that they will be my only aim.
I'm relatively new to contributing to WP but I've been using it for quite some time for research purposes. I hope to contribute to the experience for everybody.
The motto of the AIW is conservata veritate, which translates to "with the preserved truth".
This motto reflects the inclusionist desire to change Wikipedia only when no knowledge would be lost as a result.
