I am a longtime Wikipedia user and have had a desire to become a contributor for quite some time now. While I have some reservations about my ability to actively participate in this online community, I hope to overcome my over-cautious nature and general laziness and perhaps contribute something to the accumulated wealth of human knowledge.
I graduated from UC San Diego in 2007 with a BS in Cognitive Science, with specialization in Clinical Aspects of Cognition.
I intend to pursue further education, but have yet to figure out exactly what that means for me.
I currently work as a behavioral therapist for children with autism, and as a barista at Starbucks on the side.
In the past, I've had experience as a graphic artist, photographer, computer/network technician, and security officer, among other odd positions.
I probably would have officially registered as a user over a month ago if finding a suitable username didn't turn out to be particularly difficult.
My usual aliases were already taken, so I was happy to find something new to support a degree of anonimity. In the end, I settled on LupusPrime for a few reasons:
Lupus as a reference to Canis Lupus, aka the gray wolf, which I have a fondness for and feel a comradery with.
