ProtoStar I

ProtoStar I (or ProtoStar 1) is the name of a geostationary satellite which is owned and operated by ProtoStar Limited (Protostar Ltd.).

History

It is a Space Systems Loral FS1300 satellite, that was originally built in the 1996-1998 time frame as ChinaStar 8.
