The TEDxSSC is an independent TEDx event held in Catania (Italy), since 2014. TED has granted a license ever since the first event for 4 times consecutively now. There have been three editions of TEDxSSC and the fourth is currently being organised. TEDxSSC is the first University type TEDx held in South Italy. In Sicily there are two TEDx events, TEDxPalermo and TEDxSSC, although they have never been held in the same year.
