Security Impacts (reference 1[1])

  • Under this section, we can add how the estimated "The great migration" in the year 2070 will severely impact those around us but particularly millions of people in the US
    • Alternative relocations will be dispersed in various groups from super wealthy communities to very poor settlements
  • "To accommodate TGM, the U.S. will need 25–30 million new housing units. Failure to build these new units will increase material deprivation and poverty."
  • As Climate change contineus to fluctuate it becomes difficult to live in, it impatcs work and home life

Human Health (Using reference 2) [2]

  • Add figure 4 from journal to the human health section, the image is perfect to describe how anthropocentric activity can negatively impact human welfare
    • Include the facts of anthropocentric activity such as deforestation being one of the cause for increase of vector-borne diseases
    • "Deforestation, due to anthropogenic transformation of natural landscapes into agricultural or urban environments, can alter haematophagous arthropod populations, potentially affecting the dynamics of vector-borne diseases."

Human Rights and democracy (reference 3 [3])

  • An approach to changing unfair political standing could be adopting an HRBA.
  • "scholars and United Nations (UN) policy makers have urged the adoption of a human rights-based approach (HRBA) to address climate change, from both a legal and a policy perspective"
    • Youth are demanding to be involved in climate change decision making
      • they are trying to be heard by protesting and advocating, doing so they want to establish an HRBA to know what will go on with their future
