Ryan O’Neal [1]

Ryan O’Neal Harris: (Born December 12, 1993 )is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, businessman.

Born in Bainbridge, Georgia being moved around a lot due to his behavior and family issues. By the tender age of four in 1996 Ryan heard his first Jay-z song on a ride to Miami with his mom from Jay-z’s first album Reasonable Doubt thus making him idolize the mogul and fall in love with Hip Hop. Ryan says “Jay-z was the way he felt connected to his dad”. His dad being in his life but not always present.

Ryan later became infatuated wit basketball legend Allen Iverson and wanted to be a basketball player he was only in the fourth grade when he had his dreams smashed. Influenced by his older cousins that the NBA wasn’t logical and that he needed it now that’s when Ryan wrote his first song. Once again having his dreams smashed of being Hov he started doing the things Jay-z said in his songs.

Ryan had his first run in with authorities at the age of 12 when a 6th teacher smelled marijuana in his locker it was only a nickel sack, and Ryan stated that he doesn’t know where it came from and that he found the bag on the side of the road and just decided to put his books in it. This will be Ryan’s first time getting kicked out of school and moving to Florida with his favorite aunt Angel who would pass from breast cancer in 2015 and change Ryan’s life forever.

While in Broward county Ryan who by then would be called Chub Rock experimented with selling more than weed only smokin weed to get over missing his mom and siblings. Ryan started selling coke and by 7th grade got his first gun. His aunt in disbelief sent him back to Georgia where he would start getting into fights sneakin out going to clubs having sex hanging with an older crowd even getting tattoos.

The day came that no one believed Ryan makes it to high school unfortunately stuck in his ways got a few breaking and entering and in the face of trouble once again his mom packs him up takes him to the greyhound and send him back to his aunts. After a week Ryan reunited with his friends back in Broward County but this time his friends were on another time. On a summer night in 2011 Ryan is awoken by his Aunt to a street full of police and friend from across the street had robbed a bank earlier that day and his aunt once again scared to let her nephew get in trouble on her watch packed Ryan up and sent him back to Ga.

Once back home Ryan began making better decisions and being around more productive and positive people. There was this guy from his street on Mitchell which (he titled his very first mixtape after), named Cam Jones and Mr.Jones believed in Ryan so much he got him a laptop and a microphone and set a room up in his Apartment for Ryan to record music in and stay out of trouble. Ryan still wanted the fast life a record deal was further than the eyes can see.

Summer 2015 came and Ryan’s mom get the call that her sister, also his favorite aunt had passed due to breast cancer and this would change the 21 year old Ryan’s life. After burying his aunt and seeing his life situation Ryan needed the money and on July 16 2015 was the day Ryan entered a family bank with a water gun painted black and robbed the place. When asked why he did it such a thing he replied I’m tired of being broke. Ryan was sentenced to 4 years in a Federal institution.

In those 4 years incarcerated Ryan turned to the only thing he knew music and wrote lyrics everyday and came home with a purpose. Later moving to LA once all his legal issues were handled, Ryan began making music and eventually signing to Plugged in Empire.
