Early Life
[edit]Nappy Tee was born in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, during her early years she was educated at Peachtree High School now known as Dunwoody High School in Dunwoody,Ga. Nappy Tee first musical interest was singing / rap . She performed in my productions and even formed a hip-hop group call New Version of Soul and Souladelic with a manager. Later the group got signed to Capitol Records and BMG in Germany while releasing one album Birth of the Souladelic the group had two songs "Only the Strong Swang" and "66 Mello" that was featured in a movie. While in Germany the group most notable songs from the album was "I Want Your Body" and "My System". With creative difference from the label the group shortly after split, Nappy Tee began working on a solo career under the name Tika Rainn. She has lived in Germany, Atlanta,Ga Orlando, Fl, and currently resided in Los Angeles,Ca.
Acting Career
[edit]Nappy Tee appeared in two UPN television sitcom Moesha with Brandy and All of Us with Lisa Raye, on NBC television sitcom Three Sisters. In such featured films Bad Ass Bikers,[1] also featured in the film Love And A Bullet with Treach. Also appeared as herself on NBC America's Got Talent, TV ONE The Tom Joyner Show, and on the reality series for MTV Ying Yangs Twins reality series. In 2006, Nappy Tee appeared in the VH1 reality series Flavor of Love with Flavor Flav. Nappy Tee, was a contestant competing for intimate dates with Flav by competing in various challenges throughout the season. The show lasted three seasons until it was cancelled in May 2008.
Other venture
[edit]In 2004 she was featured on Soul Plane Soundtrack "Tilt My Fitted" also her song Let's Get Dirty has been feature in the flim Epic Movie,Save The Last Dance 2 and on WB America's Next Top Model she also wrote a song name Material Girl for the FX television series The Shield. Nappy Tee performed with the names MC Lyte, Michelle Branch, Hanson, Won G, for a Benefit Concert for under privilege children. Perform during the ASCAP Music Awards at Apollo Theater in New York and at Guys' Choice Awards for Spike TV. Also was in the lead girl in Foxy Shazam video, also sign to Capitol Records.
