The Kreuz Dortmund/Witten (German: Autobankreuz Dortmund/Witten) is a half-Cloverleaf interchange in the Metropolitan area Rhine-Rhur in the German state North Rhine-Westphalia.

The motorway interchange forms the connection between the A44coming from Bochum and the A45 Kreuz Dortmund-Nordwest-Aschaffenburg. [1]

Geography

The motorway interchange lays in the city district Hombruch in Dortmund near the citylimit with Witten. Nearby city districts are Löttringhausen, Menglinghausen, Eichlinghofen, Persebeck, Kruckel and Salingen all belonging to Dortmund. It lays approximately 7km southwest of the city centre of Dortmund, Aproximately 12km north of Hagen and approximately 15km east of Bochum.

Near the motorway interchange as well the A44 as the A45 to the south are build in a 2x3 layout. The A45 to the north is build in a 2x2 layout. All the connections in the interchange are build in a single lane layout.
