  3. US Country Commercial Guides; North Macedonia 2019

Removed treasury.gov as having no hits.

I dispute the others you didn't add CIA the World Factbook is an active, updated page; if they saw the need to update the currency name, they probably would've; same argument for the CIA exchange rates page. Similarly for the passport page, if one were seeking this information in 2022, these are the pages I'd find; nothing indicates they pre-date the name change either. The Sandia.gov page lists currencies within a drop-down box and names the currency Macedonian denar. For the UK earnings thresholds, I do not agree with excluding them because the rates are clearly up-to-date. They indeed have not updated the country name but the fact of the matter is even in 2022, places still call the country just Macedonia or FYROM. This is one such example.

Business

Not "added":

  2. Hong Kong Trade Development Council; North Macedonia country profile
  3. Business Insider [37]

  5. Verslo Žinios (Lithuanian)
  6. Deutsche Bank; Currency list last updated 20 July 2022 (uses former name of National Bank, but is nonetheless updated post-name change date)

I am confused why every mention of the "Macedonian denar" must be accompanied by the country name in order to be considered acceptable by you. We don't see "United States" every time someone mentions the American dollar. The NASDAQ glossary is an active page and is valid. Financial Times source: as explained previously, "Macedonia" didn't simply disappear from everyone's vocabulary in Feb 2019. This source is clearly post-Feb 2019 and calls the country Macedonia and the currency Macedonian denar, nothing wrong with that. BNP Paribas is an active webpage, another example of an "agree-to-disagree" source. The Globe and Mail pages may get the chart data externally, either way valid sources. And the article about the Canadian dollar extends into 2020, valid. I reduced all the CNET downloads to one.

Other books

The preview for Political Handbook works for me and it provides a market rate from Sept 2020, along with up-to-date facts about the country like its president, etc. The Dark Finance book is dated 2020 but indeed does refer to the currency during prior administrations. The General Knowledge book is a listing of facts for 2020 "competitive exams", thus there is no reason to conclude it is referring to the past. The Managing Diabetes book is indeed written by a Macedonian, however, books from this non-Macedonian publisher are subject to review prior to publication. Thus, the currency name was kept at Macedonian denar for publication. Contrast this to the travel guide book.

Other

The Christian Post article is from a few months ago and the topic includes the Macedonian denar. Whether the denar was obtained prior to 2019 (no reason to believe so) does not change the fact that it is referred to as "Macedonian denar". The Xinhua news agency link works for me and it states "Macedonian Denar".

I'm de-numbering the international firms with a Macedonian presence.
