Alexander Zaderko, PhD, is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of High Technologies of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine. He earned his Magister Diploma with Honours in Physical Chemistry from the same university in 2004 and his PhD in Physical Chemistry in 2013. His research focuses on the field of nanomaterials and chemically functionalized carbon surfaces, with a focus on their use in industrial solutions such as superacid catalysts and selective sorbents. He has experience in the design, application, and synthesis of new carbon (nano)materials and has published numerous papers and patents on the topic. He has also served as a scientific consultant for various organizations throughout his career [1]
