Joy Wesley is a fictional character on Days of Our Lives, an American soap opera. Created by head writers Peter Brash and Paula Cwikly, with introduction by Dena Higley[a] and executive producers Ken Corday and Stephen Wyman, Joy is the daughter of Craig (Kevin Spirtas) and Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo), and sister of Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). First appearing on March 7, 2003, Joy was portrayed by uncredited child actors. In 2005, the character was re-introduced in September 2005 with Aisling Acuna. AlexAnn Hopkins assumed the role in 2024 when Joy returned to Salem in October of the same year.[1]
Storylines
[edit]Joy was conceived by Craig and Nancy Wesley following Chloe's diagnosis with leukemia, with the hope that her bone marrow would be a match for Chloe, in order to save her life. After her birth, Joy is a tested match and donates her bone marrow to save Chloe's life. In October 2024, Joy returns to Salem and meets Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
