Welcome to my page! Introduction to Wikipedia :)

Although I am slightly nervous to begin my Wikipedia expedition, I am also excited to explore what I have constantly utilized as a reference for quite some time now. My feelings about Wikipedia as a source have been altered many times--some teachers say it is unreliable, others idolize it. I believe this process will allow me to form my own judgement about Wikipedia...for some reason I do no feel like I am going to be let down... just maybe a little confused!

About Me! :)

I am a senior this year (GO CLASS OF 2012!) and I am also a cheerleader at my school. I have three siblings: one older sister, one older brother, and one younger brother. My dad is a retired Marine, and I just so happened to end up in North Carolina for the larger portion of my young life! My course load this year is not quite as rigorous compared to last year's, but it definitely is going to require it's fair share of time. I have AP Psychology, AP Human Geography, AP Biology, an internship, Honors Marine Science, Honors English IV, and Honors Spanish III. It has been a treat to be able to enroll into the classes I am interested in this year--I love my schedule! :) I only wish we had a class based purely on World War II--that would be AMAZING. Even if you are uninterested in the topic, I highly recommend you view the HBO MiniSeries The Pacific and Band of Brothers; they are both exceptional.

My Goals

I am a Tar Heels fan all the way and one day wish to attend the University of North Carolina--Chapel Hill! If all goes well, I hope to find myself cheering on the Tar Heels as a Carolina Cheerleader. :) Eventually, I hope to major in Biology and continue on to become a Physician's Assistant. That's the plan now anyway...you never know when life is going to throw you a curve-ball and things will change! :)
