Liston Gerald Moyo, a public servant born on 16th of October 1984, Lusonga Village, Magagula Ward in Songea District, Ruvuma Region - Tanzania, East Africa. Got primary Education at Lusonga Primary School from 1991 to 1999, in Songea. Ordinary Secondary Education from 2000 to 2003 at Mpitimbi Secondary School in Songea, Ruvuma Region. In July 2004 to March 2006, Joined Advanced Level Secondary Education at Songea Muslim Seminary in Songea Municipal . Joined and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Politics and Management of Social Development - BD.PMSD from 2006 to 2009.

Started working in Public Sector from April 2010 when joined Mbinga District Council as WARD executive Officer up to June 2013 when transferred to Nyasa District council as HR. From july 2013 to May 2017, worked as Human Resources Officer under Personnel and Administration Department. From June 2017 to February 2018, worked as Acting Head of Administration and Personnel Department. In March 2018, appointed as Head of the respective Department and there after confirmed into appointment in Sept, 2018 where, he is working till to date.

Currently, he is registered as a Postgraduate student at National Institute of Business Management; India studying MBA - HRM of which he is expecting to graduate in June 2021. He, is also a student of Masters of Human Resources Management - MHRM at the Open University of Tanzania, Ruvuma Centr.
