Jovovich
Is there any way that we can have some other picture in the header of the article? It's just that that picture (in my opinion) doesn't really represent the best she's looked... JackO'Lantern 06:41, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
Baby Template
The Baby template is redundant to the topic and not needed. If anything, I might try creating a template for all the characters but until then just leave it alone for now. Thanks.--CyberGhostface 02:10, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
Vandalism
Hi, I happened to notice your edit on The Hills Have Eyes (2006 film); you wrote reverted "wrong edits". The edits by User:86.141.136.42 do count as vandalism, so if you see edits like that, feel free to drop a vandalism warning template on that user's talk page; see Wikipedia:Vandalism. Elrith 11:22, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I realized what you did, and it was right. I just noticed that no-one had put a vandalism warning on the vandal user's talk page, so I thought I'd let you know what the procedure is. The same guy had also vandalized other movie entries, and it never hurts to put a vandalism warning on their page so they can be blocked if they keep it up. Elrith 12:17, 13 April 2006 (UTC)

Saying hello
Just attempted to explain my entry in the Toolbox Murders article, which you had a question about. Checked out your profile and was happy to see a female so into horror. They're few and far between! =) I briefly worked in movies (some horror included) but currently manage a haunted house attraction in New Jersey. I also act in the attraction. You can check out the attraction's website here if you're interested. Stop by if you're ever in NJ. JohnBWatt

English varieties
Advice: English dialects on Wikipedia: Wikipedia has millions of readers; some use American English, or British English, or International English, or any of numerous other local forms from Australian English to Canadian English. Because of this, Wikipedia has a policy of respecting articles written in whatever form of English the original author of the article used.
The guidelines are simple. For subjects exclusively related to Australia (for example, an Australian film), use Australian English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. If it is an international topic, use whatever form of English the original author used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to the other, even if you don't normally use the version the article is written in. Respect other people's versions of English. They in turn should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If you have any queries about all this, just ask anyone on Wikipedia and they will help you. Enjoy your time on the internet's fastest growing encyclopædia (or encyclopedia, if you write it that way!). Thank you.
--cj | talk 04:02, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Lindsey. The golden rule for which variety of English to use in a particular article is consistency. Wolf Creek (film) is not only an Australian topic, but it was and is primarily written in Australian English. Thus, subsequent edits are expected to conform with this variety. It might have helped if I was clear from the beginning. Happy editing, --cj | talk 06:31, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
VandalProof 1.2 Now Available
After a lenghty, but much-needed Wikibreak, I'm happy to announce that version 1.2 of VandalProof is now available for download! Beyond fixing some of the most obnoxious bugs, like the persistent crash on start-up that many have experienced, version 1.2 also offers a wide variety of new features, including a stub-sorter, a global user whitelist and blacklist, navigational controls, and greater customization. You can find a full list of the new features here. While I believe this release to be a significant improvement over the last, it's nonetheless nowhere near the end of the line for VandalProof. Thanks to Rob Church, I now have an account on test.wikipedia.org with SysOp rights and have already been hard at work incorporating administrative tools into VandalProof, which I plan to make available in the near future. An example of one such SysOp tool that I'm working on incorporating is my simple history merge tool, which simplifies the process of performing history merges from one article into another. Anyway, if you haven't already, I'd encourage you to download and install version 1.2 and take it out for a test-drive. As always, your suggestions for improvement are always appreciated, and I hope that you will find this new version useful. Happy editing! --AmiDaniel (talk) 02:51, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
Hi! I noticed your name on the Wikipedia:WikiProject Horror membership list and am writing to all members who have not voted for the Collaboration of the month. Today is the designated selection day to choose the collaboration, but we currently have a tie between the two articles receiving the most votes, John Carpenter and Dario Argento. I am hoping to remedy this by drumming up a few more votes. Note that by voting for any nominated article (not limited to these two) you are indicating your "commitment to support and aid in collaborating on that specific article if it is chosen," so please feel absolutely free to ignore this message if for any reason you don't wish or would not be able to participate.--Fuhghettaboutit 22:50, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
Baby and Otis Backstories
I noticed that the Otis section was just a copy and paste from his official bio, so I removed it. The same with Baby (although I'm not sure that was cut and paste). If you modify it to your own words, then it can be posted. Thanks.--CyberGhostface 19:47, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
Milla Jovovich
Hi. I noticed that you added a Vogue magazine cover to the Milla Jovovich article. I think it only fair to warn you that Wikipedia has gotten very strict on the use of magazine covers of late and an administrator is likely to delete the image pretty quickly unless something is added to the article specifically addressing that issue. I guess under Wikipedia's fair use rules, magazine covers can only be used in articles specifically referencing the cover -- as in the magazine itself, not the subject of the cover. I've been seeing magazine images removed by the dozens -- even including fashion model articles. I've protested and at least one editor has quit the project completely in response. Hopefully you can add something to the article that'll give the scan a reason for being there under fair use. 23skidoo 23:51, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- The text should be the reason for the image being there. Not the oposite. --Abu Badali 21:55, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Saw 3 edit
Hey. I'm assuming it was you who added the trivia about Troy's trap being shown on Spike TV (my watchlist said you were the last person to edit it). I just wanted to know if you saw it yourself or you just posted it because someone told you about it. I know it's difficult to get sources about TV listings but could you try please?
Thanks. -- ViperBlade Talk!! 08:52, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Well that's odd then because whoever edited it hasn't come up on my watchlist. -- ViperBlade Talk!! 09:06, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
I didn't know that (I'm new to Wiki editing). I just altered the Saw 3 page myself actually. One of the "Unknown Traps" happened to be the twisting crucifix, so I added a little detail on it here. -- ViperBlade Talk!! 09:15, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Custom Signature
Yeah, I'm pretty much addicted to it too. I've been using it daily for about 6 months now, but I only started editing pages about 2 weeks ago. Any idea how to make custom sigs appear by typing "~~~~" because for the moment I have to type "--{{User:ViperBlade/Sig}}"
Thanks -- ViperBlade Talk!! 09:27, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
I'm probably just being n00bish but all that's coming up is {{User:ViperBlade/Sig}}. So I still have to type it out manually :( -- ViperBlade Talk!! 09:41, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Could you put it between <nowiki></nowiki> tags please? Or you can edit User:ViperBlade/Sig directly (if that's what you need to do). ViperBlade Talk!! 09:53, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Lol, that's even worse than before. <big>''' [[User:ViperBlade|<font color=#00D500>ViperBlade '''</font></big><small>[[User_Talk:ViperBlade|<font color=#008800>Talk!!]]</small>]] 10:13, 13 October 2006 (UTC)!
Thanks anyway. Looks like I'll have to stick to {{User:ViperBlade/Sig}}. ViperBlade Talk!! 10:13, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, but it said I couldn't use that because it had HTML tags in it. I've sorted it out now though! ViperBlade Talk!! 10:24, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
You did help though. Because of you I tried playing with the "Raw signature" option. If you want your custom sig to appear by typing ~~~~, go to my profile.
Thanks again! ViperBlade Talk!! 10:37, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Saw 3 plot
Thanks a million! I've now completely spoiled the film for myself, lol. Well I can't be bothered to wait until it comes out on DVD, and I'm NOT watching it in French (comes out here the 4th of november I think).

Removing trivia
Hi, You rock! Thank you for removing the huge trivia section from Resident Evil: Apocalypse. I cut the plot summary down by 1/2 (removing scene-by-scene descriptions of minor characters shooting weapons, gun battles that are mainly there to have explosions, etc!) but I didn't have the guts to remove the entire Trivia section. I tried unsuccessfully to urge the creation of a policy against Trivia sections, in the Wikipedia rules pages, but no one took me up on it. Now that I see your gutsy removal of a huge trivia section, I see that I am not alone in my dislike of trivia sections.... The name says it all: "Trivia." At least it is truth in packaging./////WARNING...ANTI-TRIVIA RANT TO FOLLOW.....////// This is an online ENCYCLOPEDIA, not a collection of random, insignificant little details. It is supposed to give the "big picture." I have been so frustrated by articles with huge trivia sections. Even the "Anne Frank" (yes that Anne Frank, the one killed by the Nazis) article had a Trivia section....Nazamo 19:44, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
