Andrejs Matvejevs

Andrejs Matvejevs - best known as one of the most talented and best Latvian graphic designers of new generation.

Founder and creative director of JET MEDIA.

In late 90s Andrejs was member of Latvian domestic gang known as “Bolderaja” which was mostly associated with making rep songs and was against any kind of violence and racism. Part of gang members where also rappers and Andrejs created rap group where he was mostly know by his synergistic lyrics in songs which United the country.

In beginning of 2000 moved traveled to USA to visit his friend Zigmunds Liepa. After while Zigmunds saw talent In Andrejs that he had good skills of drawing and phenomenal taste of style. Zigmunds send Andrejs to graphical design university in LA where Andrejs succeed with best grades.

In 2007 Andrejs moved back Latvia and started private business as Graphical Designer. Cooperated with many Russian, American, German and Latvian rappers making graphical designs for their soundtracks, albums and outfits.

Later Matvejevs reunited rap band and become one of leaders there. Since then he received 3 awards “Skaņas Taure” as one of the best rapper in Latvia. Award “Skaņas Taure” is similar like Grammy in USA.

As usually Andrejs during rep concerts was very artistic, emotional and had good acting stills. One day in concert he was seen by Latvian famous acting director Pukāns and he offered him main part in new movie called “one chance, two shots!”. Andrejs received acting award “zelta tēlotājs” which is similar award to Oscars.

Since then he’s the one and only singer in Latvia who received singer and actor awards.

Since 2018 he retired from show business and spends time with his friends.
