Moylough 79' FC are a club based in Galway, Ireland and are based in the village of Moylough.

They play in the Roscommon District League and have had only limited success across all age groups.

Their main colours are green and black.

They were originally found in 1979 as 'Moylough Rovers' and registered in the Roscommon District League in 1980 relying on mainly players from Mountbellew and Moylough.

They've had highs and lows including a 13-0 Home loss to Killkerrin United in the U11 panel.

They announced a 'new' dynamic grass pitch in 2024 with the help of a club fundraiser.

Their main rivals are Shiven Rovers whom Moylough 79' are always in the shadow of considering Shiven Rovers won 'FAI Club of the Year' in 2016.

They have an U5,U7,U9,U11,U12,U14,U16,U18* and a Senior Team who play in the 'Norios Takeaway Roscommon District League Division One'

The U18 Team didn't participate in the 2024 season. Notable achievements include '2022 RYDSL U11 Europa and Champions Cup Winners','2024 RYDSL Soccer 7s Cup'.

The youth teams play under 'RYDSL Academy Association' and the Senior Team plays under the 'Roscommon District League Association'.
