Liam Hancock started playing golf when he was only 4 years old with just a small putter, his first taste of the golf course was teeing up from the 150yds markers with his father, while riding in a buggy on public golf courses, Liam was then accepted at Leek Golf Club when he was only 9 years old, and was Junior Captain at 16. Liam represented Staffordshire when he was 10 years old and played some County Golf until he was 16 years old, he also captained the Men's Scratch Team at LGC.
Up to this point in his life Liam had not taken golf too seriously, and it was only at 18 years old that Liam decided that maybe with a lot of hard work he could actually turn playing golf into a career, so following his A-Levels he decided to leave home and started a full time Golf Scholarship based in Sussex, he started his full time coaching with Denis Pugh who has coached Colin Montgomerie throughout his career and now coaches Francesco Molinari and Ross Fisher, so he is in very good hands.
There is also a full team of professionals all helping Liam with his game both on and off the course, Swing Coaches; Denis Pugh and Steve Marr, Support from; Paul Lyons and Tim Spence both European Tour Players from the 1990s, Ben Clayton, Srixon golf's short game coach, personal fitness instructor James Thomson and well know psychologist Dan Abrahams.

Liam Hancock first reached the World Rankings in 2017 - Hancock is ranked inside the top 2000 players.
Liam won the Amendoeira Classic in 2019 on the Portugal Pro Golf Tour.
Personal life
Hancock still enjoys fitness and fooball being an avid Man Utd fan.
