C. Ariel Wulff (born April 26, 1960) is an American writer and artist who worked in the comics industry from 1998-2001.
A Cleveland, Ohio native, and former graphic artist, Wulff worked as an inker and letterer with comic creators Barry Blair & Colin (Walbridge) Chan on the titles: Legend of the Elflord, Lynx, Sapphire, Dick Sweeney, Demon Hunter, Dark Island and Sno. Her artwork appeared in the pages of independent comic Legend of the Elflord and on the cover of independent comic Elfquest. She received a nomination for the R.A.C. Wulff created artwork and wrote for the Elfquest comic fanzine Sendings(1998–2000), producing a series of articles interviewing the writers and artists of Elfquest, and is credited for her editing help in The Wolfrider's Guide to the World of Two Moons. She wrote and pencilled the special collector's edition Elfquest ashcan comic Pack Mates with artist Nicole Tadgell.
Since then, she has written two nonfiction memoirs about companion animal rescue, Born Without a Tail (BookSurge Publishing, 2007), and Circling the Waggins; How 5 Misfit Dogs Saved Me from Bewilderness (Barking Planet Productions, 2012). She is a contributing editor for PetPardons.com.[1] She is a freelance writer for the Examiner, writing a Cleveland Pet column and a National Animal Books column. She maintains the blog 'Up on the Woof' where she advocates for dogs. Wulff intermittently produces comic style paintings featuring her original yelodoggie character.
