History
[edit]Foundation and name
[edit]Movimento Plano Crew was founded by Marco Antonio Brasil Filho also known as Emtee. Currently, he is a Brazilian Computer Engineer, focused deeply in Hip Hop music production and sound engineering in general.
In Brazil, Movimento Plano Crew is not only a Hip Hop group. It also functions as a social inclusion project, that seeks to bring the Brasília community together. They want to make art a means to establish links between traditional segments of Brazilian society.[1]
All of the group's talents are used and recognized, developing respected values such as collective creativity. It is the role of all members in Movimento Plano Crew to share their own skills through the means of concerts, lectures, and workshops which are opened to the general public throughout Brazil.[2]
Our goal is to transform as well as inspire the Brazilian society to realize its' many unfulfilled dreams...
The group's debut album is called "Versos e Versos" and was entirely produced by Emtee at Intercala Records. This album obtained second place in the category for Best Brasiliense Hip Hop CD (in 2011).[3]
