User:Legalhumanmachine
I, User:legalhumanmachine, am an employee of Linn-Benton Community College in Albany, OR, USA. I am a librarian, instructional designer, instructor, faculty developer, and open education practitioner. It is my goal to improve Wikipedia by using it as a teaching tool to empower my community to build more inclusive cultural artifacts.
My work focuses on open education, and I use Wikipedia to help students explore an open educational resource (OER) while beginning to think of themselves as knowledge co-creators, rather than just knowledge consumers. My username refers to the three layers of the Creative Commons licenses.
One of my goals in using Wikipedia with students is to leverage open practices to create more recognitive and representational justice in my classroom. These ideas came from Sarah Rosleyn Lambert .[1]
I welcome and encourage other editors to contact me via my user talk page if my editing conflicts with Wikipedia guidelines or if you see potential for collaborative projects.
Stay well!
