SouthEast LinuxFest

[edit]

The inaugural SouthEast LinuxFest (SELF) was held in Clemson, SC at Clemson Unversity's Hendrix student center on June 13, 2009. Plans for the second annual fest are currently being developed.[1] [2]

Mission Statement

[edit]

The SouthEast LinuxFest, as outlined at the fest web site here, is an event to bring together the community of anyone who wants to learn more about Linux and Free & Open Source software. The main goals are to provide an educational conference, an opportunity for social gathering, a place for organizations and companies to promote their ideas and products and provide a vehicle to facilitate communications between attendees with all skill levels to share tips and ideas. A place to have fun and to bring a Linux centric event to the Southeast region once again!
