Everyday emergency response tag

Emergency response tags are an identification tool used by emergency service personnel during a response situation such as an everyday emergency incident, evacuation, or mass casualty incident to reliably identify victims, track and record their personal information, and administer and coordinate necessary care.

Design of emergency response tags

[edit]

Design of an emergency response tag can vary based on user need, such as evacuation, everyday emergency response, or mass casualty incident. First generation tags were constructed of paper and used loops of string to affix to patients. Today's advanced tags are often constructed of durable material to withstand the harsh conditions of emergency response environments. The latest generation of tags have been updated with secure fastening systems and pre-printed adhesive barcode labels for quick identification and tracking.
