For leprosy, I will add in a section on how it can be zoonotic. Armadillos can get a case of leprosy. Wild nine-banded armadillos are a highly endemic hosts of Mycobacterium leprae. Armadillo body temperature is what attracts the attention of leprologists. The second article talks about the pathogenesis of leprosy between the armadillos. The first article talks about how leprosy can be passed from armadillo to human.
