Lauren Ashley Allan is an American designer. Lauren launched her namesake interior design firm Lauren Ashley Allan LLC in September 2020, announced by Architectural Digest. Lauren Ashley Allan serves high end residential and commercial clients worldwide with projects ranging from interior design, interior architecture to furniture and product design.

Lauren has a Master in Architecture from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), where her love for Mies Van der Rohe and modern architecture flourished. While at SAIC Lauren studied abroad in Vienna and Prague where she fell in love with the Muller Villa by Adolf Loos and work by Josef Hoffmann.

Lauren has a BFA from Miami of Ohio in Interior Design where she also played Division I NCAA soccer for Miami’s Womens Soccer Team.

Lauren has worked for some of the top interior designers in the world, including her most inspiring tenure as a Senior Designer along side Kelly Wearstler in Los Angeles. Lauren believes that design is not only an art, design is a form of storytelling.

Other influences include Jean Prouve, Pierre Jeanneret, Jean Royere, Sol LeWitt, Peggy Guggenheim, Sonia Delaunay, Roberto Burle Marx, Pierre Chareau, Gio Ponti, Sheila Hicks, David Hockney, Jean Michel Frank, Constantin Brancusi, Aldo Rossi, Memphis and Dada Movements, to name a few.

Born and raised outside of Chicago, Lauren is married with two children.
