Option 1
[edit]- Article title
- The World, the Flesh and the Devil (1959 film)
- Article Evaluation
- -Missing a lot of information, especially in the Production and Release and Reception sections.
- -An additional section about how race is depicted in the film would be useful and relevant.
- -Very few references.
- Sources
- -TCM website, although it references some critical reception that has been archived and is retrievable.
- -Journal article "The World, the Flesh, and the Devil: The Politics of Race, Gender, and Power in Post-Apocalyptic Hollywood Cinema" by Stephanie Larrieux
Option 2
[edit]- Article title
- Darkness (poem) by Lord Byron
- Article Evaluation
- -What there is currently written is very well done, however a lot more could be added to the Criticism and Analysis section. In this section, there is a very large portion dedicated to "Biblical imagery" which cites no other information than certain lines in the actual poem. This gives the impression that this is a random editor's thoughts on this aspect of the poem and isn't actually backed by any scholarly information. Adding a source or a of couple sources in there would be good to add some credibility.
- -Lots of good background info although it focuses more on what was going on around Byron during the time he wrote the poem, would be good to add some more personal information. It only mentions his divorce once in the introduction and this is never touched on again, this (after doing some research) seemed to deeply impact him and this poem. Could be expanded upon.
- -Most importantly, I think what would really benefit this article is adding in a lot more viewpoints surrounding the Criticism and Analysis section. There is a ton of information out there, even just on Google Scholar from what I've seen so far, that is missing from this article that would aid in the overall understanding of this poem--aside from simply mentioning the heavy biblical theme.

Option 3
[edit]- Article title
- Fire and Ice (poem) by Robert Frost
- Article Evaluation
- -Analysis section needs to be greatly expanded.
- -Would need to take further research but I believe the In Popular Culture section could be added to as well since this is a popular poem. This section is even mentioned in the talk page that it's missing some information.

- (Harder to find information on this particular poem that is accessible)
