Duane Melgarejo Cartujano, also known as "Brother Duane", is a Catholic Apologist. He was born on October 5, 1980 and currently the "Servant Leader" of Apologetics and Research Ministry of the Roman Catholic Church in the Province of Capiz.
Brother Duane Cartujano teaches at St. Pius X Seminary. He studied Biblical language at the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies. He also enhanced his knowledge with the help of Bible scholars like Dr. [Ulrich], noted Catholic Bible Scholar, Professor Emeritus at the University of Notre Dame and member of translation teams for both the New Revised Standard Version of the Bible and the New American Bible: Revised Edition. Brother Duane was recommended by Dr. Eugene Ulrich as a dedicated teacher of Biblical languages. He was given a recommendation by one of the most respected New Testament scholars, Dr. Daniel B. Wallace, as one of the Christian defenders of Christ as God. Brother Duane has authored more than 100 articles and several books, including 5 Things You Need to do Before You Die, The Catholic Church has the Answer: Answers to Over 100 Questions of Both Catholics and Non-Catholics and soon another book, Deepen and Defend your Faith about the Holy Trinity. One of the articles he wrote was “The Dead Sea Scrolls and Its Value in the Study of Sacred Scriptures.” This was reviewed and corrected by notable scholars like Dr. Lawrence H. Schiffman (Professor of Hebrew and Judaic Studies at New York University). Dr. Schiffman congratulated Bro. Duane for this article. It was also reviewed, corrected, and approved by Dr. Eugene Ulrich, another expert in the study of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
