Below are some of the most recent and notable editions of the Rugby Sound Festival:

The 2017 edition[edit]

With the 2017 edition, the festival was moved for the first time to the island of Visconti Castle in Legnano where the ten evenings, which started on June 30 and ended on July 9, were attended by more than 40,000 participants in total. The spectators were also able to experience recreational and sport activities organized in the nearby Sport Village. Among the proposed sports there were rugby, yoga tai-chi, CrossFit, football, wall climbing, and basketball, but also the opportunity to visit the castle and walk in the park.

The 2018 edition is the 19th edition of the festival, which started on the 29th of June and concluded on the 8th of July.

The 2022 edition[edit]

The 2022 edition started on the 30th of June and ended on the 10th of July. This was the first edition after the forced two-year stop because of the Covid-19 pandemic. For this reason, Shining Production, but solely for this edition, decided to exclusively invite Italian artists, whose presence is usually less recognized compared to their international counterparts. Nevertheless, more than 55,000 people attended the castle island throughout the 11 evenings.

• The festival began with a metal night, opened by the concert of "Moonlight Haze," a symphonic metal group, followed by "Lacuna Coil," a heavy metal band specializing in gothic metal and alternative metal. The price for the tickets was 1€
• During the second evening, four Ragge groups played on the stage, the "Sud Sound System," specializing in reggamuffin and dancehall, were the first with "Bag A Riddim Band": these two groups made some songs together and they also collaborated for the realization of numerous concerts in the past. The group "Train to Roots" and "Vito War" appeared later on stage, respectively a reggae group and a reggae DJ. The price for the tickets was 1€
• The third day featured an event called "Deejay Time". This evening is organized by the Italian radio station "Radio Deejay", aiming to replicate the namesake radio show by playing the most famous songs from the 90s and dance music. The price for the tickets was 12€.

• The second evening (30th of June) the Festival hosted the show of a pop and punk band: Finley; followed by a music party called Teenage Dream. This date, is one of the two, that reached the sold out three weeks before the start of the Festival.

• On the final night (10th of July), the comedian Andrea Pucci took the stage, this date is the second of the two, that reached full capacity three weeks before the start of the festival.

Tickets prices apply to individuals aged 10 and above, while entry is free for children under 10 years of age, the only exception is for the show of Andrea Pucci, that is free for kids under the age of 6.
