Welcome!
I have regularly used Wikipedia over the last years, and find it's a great project. So far I have not made any major contributions, I have just started to make small corrections or additions on information I came across. I need to take more time to read and understand the 'rules' of Wikipedia.
My main field of interest here on Wikipedia is the natural history of polar regions, with a focus on Antarctica and the sub-Antarctic islands. Topics I am interested in include oceanography, plankton and marine invertebrates, fish, cetaceans, seabirds (albatrosses, storm petrels and penguins) as well as a bit of history (whaling, early exploration).
